GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE


Engaging our stakeholders to better understand their interests and concerns is a fundamental part of our approach to sustainability. We aim to take an inclusive approach and work constructively with all our key stakeholders by ensuring that we maintain an open dialogue.


We have a grievance procedure in place for both internal and external stakeholders to register sustainability-related concerns, particularly with regard to our Policy on Sustainable Palm Oil, such as those related to deforestation, land disputes, human rights or general labour issues, on our operations or that of our third party suppliers. Our philosophy is to work collaboratively and constructively with all our stakeholders. We want stakeholders to engage us directly with their concerns, so that these can be investigated and addressed through remediation, if necessary, as quickly as possible. In this regard, we appreciate and welcome stakeholders, including non-governmental organisations (NGOs), to engage positively with us and help us to address gaps in our operations.
